What some of our guests say about our location -
.... Nestled quietly between St Cyprien, Sarlat and Les Eyzies lies the beautiful village of Meyrals and the wonderful Jardin des Amis. We took care to pick a rural setting with a pool and nearby restaraunt and were really pleased with our accomodation. So with the basics out of the way we booted up the sat nav to scope out all the tourist attractions recommended to us by a friend and it was then that we really appreciated the beauty of Meyrals. Out of 10 or so locations, only 2 were more than 20km from our base which meant no painfully early departures and we were always back at the pool bar in time for the cocktail hour. This may sound a bit puerile to some, but I hate it on hols when you have to prepare with expedition-like thoroughness in order to enjoy a day out, and the convenient location of Jardin des Amis in Meyrals allowed us to do the tourist thing in a very easy, relaxed way... (Glenn & Sara, Wales)

....When we arrived we thought we were in the middle of nowhere, within 2 days we realised we were in the middle of everywhere. We had the best of both worlds, the wonderful tranquility of the French countryside on our doorstep and the convenience of all the major attractions only minutes away.... (Sue & Sean, Ireland)

..fantastic place to stay - relaxing but lots of places to visit. Sue & Jon are warm and friendly hosts. We will definitely be back! (Hayley, Cheshire, UK)

....A wonderful place to visit, with lots of history - beautiful small village. Sue & Jon are wonderful hosts. Looking forward to coming back as we still haven't seen everything! (Dave & Gail, Canada)

...How could it be over? Perfect location....a winner! The Dordogne is a moving, spectacular place and 'Le Jardin des Amis' is in the thick of it......(Millie & Hal, USA)

..A lovely base from which to explore this enchanting area of the beautiful Dordogne! A very relaxing 5 days. Thank you! (Scott, Shelley & Gabriella, New Zealand)
